nengroo: Jaish-e-Mohammed’s Ashiq Ahmed Nengroo declared as terrorist

The federal government on Monday declared Jaish-e-Mohammed commander Ashiq Ahmed Nengroo as a person ‘terrorist’ beneath the Illegal Actions (Prevention) Act as he’s presently engaged in a Pakistan managed marketing campaign to orchestrate terror in Jammu and Kashmir.

Nengroo is the thirty sixth individual to be included within the listing which has names of JeM chief Maulana Maood Azhar, Lashkar patron and 26/11 mastermind Hafiz Saeed and underworld don Dawood Ibrahim amongst others.

MHA, in a gazette notification, mentioned that Nengroo (35), a resident of Pulwama in Kashmir, has been concerned within the infiltration of terrorists into Jammu and Kashmir.
